How to find us

Linthorpe Surgery has two sites both are open 7.45am until 6pm:

Linthorpe Road Main site: 378 Linthorpe Road. TS5 6HA

Branch Site: North Ormesby Health Village.

Both sites closed Saturday and Sunday.

How and when to access our services

We will be operating a Care Navigation Hub system.

All patients are encouraged to complete an e consultation form online. This will be triaged by a GP (doctor) and you will receive a response on the SAME DAY.

e Consult

Available Monday-Friday 8am-6pm

Follow this link to go directly to eConsult

If you cannot complete an online e consultation we can provide support to access this service.

If you are not able to access this support we can complete one on your behalf over the phone.

If it is felt to be medically urgent you will be provided an appointment either telephone or face to face with an appropriate clinician.

If it is not felt to be medically urgent there are a number of outcomes:

  1. you will be sent self care advice, treatment or signposting via text or email
  2. you will be referred to the relevant service
  3. you will be placed on a waiting list to see the relevant person as a routine appointment
  4. if you have a mobile phone you will be sent a booking link, which will show you all clinicians with available appointments relevant to your concern
  5. if you do not have a mobile phone the practice staff will contact you to book the relevant appointment

You will always be informed of the outcome of your initial query THAT DAY.

For those patients under 18 you can also use the Healthier Together app which will guide you through a triage system to help decide where you need to go. This will guide you through urgent concerns.

Out of hours NHS 111 is available 24/7

Home visits

We would always encourage you to come to the practice where we have the facilities and staff to best support your needs. Home visits are for those patients who are housebound, or too unwell to leave the house. If you do feel you need a home visit letting us know as early as possible in the day can help.

Routine concerns

Please consider seeking advice and support from your local Pharmacy who can help with a wide range of minor illnesses without needing to book an appointment.

Online consultations are open daily. They are open to ALL ages.

As above E consultation or online consultation is the PRIMARY / MAIN way of contacting the practice.

By telephone

Our phone lines open at 8am every day until 6pm.

We would urge patients to use the e consultation method where possible.

This will keep the phone lines free for our frail and vulnerable patients who need support to complete the e consultation, and for healthcare professionals with urgent queries.
