Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)
The Electronic Prescription Service is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how the GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.
If you normally collect your repeat prescriptions from the surgery you will not have to visit the practice to pick up your paper prescription. Instead, we will send it electronically to the place you choose, saving you time.
You need to choose a place for the practice to electronically send your prescription to. This is called a nomination and you can ask any pharmacy that offers EPS to add your nomination for you. You do not need a computer to do this.
Don’t worry you can change your nominated pharmacy or cancel EPS prescriptions at any time just speak to the pharmacy or the practice and we will remove the nomination.
