Patient Participation Group (PPG)
We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.
To help us with this, we have set up a patient participation group so that you can have your say.
A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a selection of patients and practice staff who meet at regular intervals to consider ways of making a positive contribution to the services and facilities offered by the practice to patients.
Aims of the group:
1. Improve communications and information transfer between the Linthorpe Surgery
and its patients
2. Give patients the opportunity to discuss topics of mutual interest
to the practice
3. Contribute to continuous improvement of services
4. Provide practical support and help implement positive changes
Patient Participation is not:
1. A forum for complaints
2. A vehicle for people to resolve their own personal issues
3. A doctors’ fan club
When are the meetings?
The meetings will be held on a bi-monthly basis between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on a Thursday.
