Patient Survey Results – December 2021

A big thank you to the hundreds of you who responded to our practice survey and gave us some very honest feedback.  We do appreciate the time people gave.

We have reviewed the results carefully as a practice and with our Patient Participation Group.  We realise that that this is an unprecedented time for the NHS and for General Practice nationwide. We do want and aim to maintain our history of being a well-respected and friendly Practice that offers a good standard of care.

There were many positive responses and comments and the majority of you say that you are satisfied with our service and would recommend us to your friends and family.  Thank you.

There were several areas highlighted that are not going as well as in previous years.

Firstly, the telephone system currently does not work as well for many people with long waits and occasionally patients being cut off.  We have been in touch with the phone company and will ensure this improves and will continue the option of call backs so you do not need to wait on the phone.

E consultations will also continue.

From September we started to offer the option of in person or telephone appointments for routine consultations.

Comment was made about our lack of staff and waiting time for appointments. We have been short staffed for several reasons – not helped by staff being off with covid or isolating – but we recruited a number of new staff recently and hope that this will improve the situation.
